Finally, Kenneth Petty, Nicki Minaj’s Husband, Registers as a Sex Offender in California

Following his recent arrest in Los Angeles, Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has now registered as a sex offender in the State of California.

LIB had reported that Petty, who was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in California, pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Shortly after the charges were dropped upon his court appearance, Petty has now officially registered as a sex offender.

Petty moved to California in July 2019 and failed to register as a sex offender within the required five working days, stemming from his 1995 conviction of first-degree attempted rape at the age of 16. He subsequently served prison time for the offense.

According to guidelines from New York State’s Sex Offender Registry, an offender must notify the Division of Criminal Justice Services within 10 days of any change of address.
