On Wednesday, August 2nd, a woman from New Hampshire lost her life in a hit-and-run collision that occurred in Plaistow. Subsequently, law enforcement authorities were able to apprehend a driver in connection with the incident.

In a swift response, law enforcement arrived at the intersection of Main Street and Westville Road just after 3:30 p.m. The incident involved a pickup truck colliding with a motorcycle, after which the driver of the truck fled the scene.

The victim has been identified as 64-year-old Lory Beck from Epping. Following the incident, Beck was immediately rushed to Lawrence General Hospital in Massachusetts. However, despite the efforts of medical professionals, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

In a recent development, the driver of the truck involved in the incident has been officially identified as 78-year-old Barry Burrows, a resident of Kingston. According to the police, he has been arrested on a felony charge of conduct after an accident resulting in death.
